Mountains of Greece

mountain ranges
touching horizons
in harmony
with lakes
deep blue
paths
seemingly reaching
into infinity
yet
each with a destination
unknown
to the eye

paths straight
paths twisted
paths
leading to
paths new and old
each complementing
the other
none able
to exist alone
and sometime
somewhere
they shall run together
meet again
creating
a picture
so grand
the eye alone
shall never
comprehend
visible to just
the soul

I agree with Mark. This is a beautiful, evocative and sensitive poem taking us to landscapes known and unknown to the eye. Any more where this came from? Great stuff, Berni.
