this is about the Sahara-like dunes in Nida on the Lithuanian coast

Nida dunes

a grain of sand
on deserted shores
seeking out its kind
to embrace
billions of times over

together
arising towards
skies and horizons
in tune
with the clouds' whistle

running up
rolling hills
down desert plains
wild roam
of freedom
of belonging

There is a fine sense of movement and space in this poem that transports the reader to the place in a way you can almost feel it. Fine writing. Peter

Hi Havetslys

You pen the most wonderful landscapes
and this poem is another that has reached us
here on the bay in its belonging... :)
