For her with all the love I have
You fill the simple dreams of your man
Tending in your caring way
The flowers you bring every day to our home
And as I drive back from work
There is nothing so beautiful
As the thought of you in the flower bed
The only thing that can be said or thought
That the beauty of any flower there comes to nought
Before the beauty of the lady who cares and tends them

The Pretty Gardner by M.A.Meddings
Dressed in your check shirt and your jeansYou fill the simple dreams of your man
Tending in your caring way
The flowers you bring every day to our home
And as I drive back from work
There is nothing so beautiful
As the thought of you in the flower bed
The only thing that can be said or thought
That the beauty of any flower there comes to nought
Before the beauty of the lady who cares and tends them
