Nightmare
In rem her sleep is haunted as
Depraved sprits through the windows of
Her conscience come to invade her dreams
and suffocate her screams
As the demons torment her soul she tries to
speak but her words are dead and her heart
Beats fast and her eyes faster as the Phantom
Tries to lie in her bed
As her breath is agonizingly squeezed from
Her now burning lungs lucid Images call her
Name and the candle that is to light her path
Has lost its Flame
And she wants to run but terror holds her
Down and its warriors strive to pull her soul
Through the gates of the Underground
But purity abounds and love they could not
Conquer for amid the images of Ungodliness
She sees the face that she knows could save
Her from this loathsome place
As she focuses on the face of her deliverance
The demons are banished to their habitat of
The Condemned for tonight they are deprived
Of her soul's Content
As she awakens from her frightful slumber
To the emerging sunlight she says to me
I love you
