Inspired by neps poem the Falconer

Broken by M.A.Meddings

If you read the book  'The Goshawk' by Duncan Carse you will understand this. It describes how he took a wild Goshawk and trained it to the hand. The book in a great part describes how he sat up night after night  in the birds enclosure staring it out until it went to sleep. he went without sleep  himself for nights on end until the bird had succumbed and then he became its master

Broken By M.A.Meddings

Now this night is young
Now we see who is the strongest
This night will be the last for one of us
This night will see who wins
One of us will fall asleep
Then one of us will be broken

Yes and in every case you find the weak among the strong and the ready among the lazy. One will fall but in the tragedy there is a hero ready to make his move. Wonderful response Mike, really great.
