I happen to have certain breakage in poetry writing for sometime. This prompted me to write the poem.
I don't know what slip
But poems are asleep
What close them with a flip;
Have I taken a trip;
Or is there nothing to strip?
What mocking closure not so brief!
Come pen for the grip
Not drunk to grief
But to covet that feel deep
While flight seem not so steep.
Poems don't remain asleep
A neighbour breathes so deep
Your face so friendly is not to skip.
