Apologies to Hank Williams

Howling At The Moon All Over You

Your freckles are so bright
This beautiful night
Serving to draw me into
This enchanted web
Oh gosh! when all is said
I could flip sommersaults for you
Stand upon my head
Walk on finger tips
Lie down like a lollopy diog
To have his tummy rubbed
You have me howling at the moon
And I guess pretty soon
I will be fetching a ball
So you can call me your pet
You make me feel that way
Pick  me up when I am down
Have me behaving like a clown
Bow! wow! bow! wow !
Can I bark for you
And  sit upon my haunches
And feel so damn well raunchy
When you call me sweetheart as you do
Standing on my head
Flipping over backwards
Howling at the moon
All over you

I adore this. It makes this romance sound so young and vibrant. And so earthy! Go Hank!

Fine and funny write. Suddenly my tummy needs rubbing; come to think of it, my ears could use a little scratching too... ;-,?

Well now that you, Mike, have reduced yourself to that of a lovesick puppy and a clown who is constantly trying to be funny but tries to hard and is funny but is to naive to notice, I can say this. That was GREAT and I loved how this love has caused you to express how you just how talented you are as a writer. This was good and is Bookmarked for future reading. Once again great job. : )
