In The Silence Of My Adoration by M.A.Meddings
In the silence of my adoration
I think of the simple things
Because true love is about simple things
It's about having breakfast together
Folding my laundery
Sneaking the last bit of toast
Making your coffee
Helping you with dishes
Squeezing your bottom as we do so
Making the bed together
Then testing it out
Having to make it again
Tending the garden
Taking you shopping
Carrying bags
Until I have arms like a gorrila
Waitng for you to try on dresses
Becoming impatient
When you arent where we arranged
On time
Calling your cell phone
Saying darling button I am here
Taking you to dinner
Lying down with you on Sunday afternoon
Cat naps
Watching you softly breathing
Kissing your nose and those freckles
Watching your eyelids flicker as you dream
In the silence of my adoration
Giving my heart you
My gentle Button
