Would You?

Would you count the raindrops if you could

Or grains of sand upon the beach

Would you stretch out to the stars at night

If you thought that you could reach

Would you lay your life down for another

If it would ease their pain

Would you change the course of history

If peace you could attain

Would you, even if you could

Change the world in which you live

Or would you fade into the background

Asking others to forgive.

I do want to say that I would...... but then..... I honestly don't know.
Changing the history would mean changing my own history..... I wouldn't wanna be without my loved ones, but then ... if I really had the ability... would I be able to be that selfish that I wouldn't change the past????? I don't know.....
But I can honestly say that I hope I would if I could for the benefit of the whole planet earth.

Great writing..... your questions created more questions......
