As Now In loneliness I Await The Roses by M.A.Meddings
Standing on a seashore
As newsreaders oftimes said
Somewhere in England
Aberystwith on a wet Sunday
Suits just fine the mood I am in
So filled with dread this heart
Of lonely days ahead
And darkest nights of missing you
You sent me roses on gentle waves
Petals of your love strewn caring
Wishing me back again
And then in dreams
I stood on ebbtide seashore
Looking Westward
And now in loneliness I await the roses
I am waiting for you my love
