Poem text
For it was but here for a while
When did we lose our grace
For but to hold it then its gone
Such was the days of your smile
We bright light beem upon your face
With great knowledge comes great pain
The tears upon ours faces fall
As the world changes before us
Now comes the days of acid rain
The wilderness we can only recall
As the angels look down on us
Why do we disregaurd our distruction
Do we think we are forever
Just tossing away the very future
Have we forgoten our own instruction
Can we be the same in our indevor
Or fail and begin our own torture
Someday is here to act is now
Why should we think it tommorow
Let work and bring sweat to the brow
So there will be another tommorow

Where has the innocence gone
Where has the innocence goneFor it was but here for a while
When did we lose our grace

The tears upon ours faces fall
