A little midnight piano never hurt anybody.

The Lucky Stone

His name was Jeremy Stone
He lived his early days off of trash and bone
Life was his chewtoy then
But now it's back again

He moved out into a shed
And slept on the ground; it was cold and wet
Looks like he's broken too
Just like the home he grew

Jeremy Stone
Jeremy Stone
I hope you're happy where you are
All alone
All alone
Counting sheep out in your car

Jeremy Stone
Jeremy Stone

I wish you the best in all your endeavors
Doing what you do, whatever, whatever

You're the craziest man I ever met
And good luck with that

He carved his name sharp and fast
They thought it was a pun in the simple text
The words on the rock wall
They didn't get at all

With his hair dishoveled and tossed
He made his last bet, when he rolled and lost
With nothing left to lose
Except for both his shoes

Jeremy Stone
Jeremy Stone
I hope you're happy where you are
All alone
All alone
Counting sheep out in your car

Jeremy Stone
Jeremy Stone

I wish you the best in all your endeavors
Doing what you do, whatever, whatever

You're the craziest man I ever met
And good luck with that

Great line amongst many "life was a chewtoy then" I can hear the melancholic sound of the music. Really enjoyed the read. :)
