(Repost; I deleted this by accident)

Cliché, yes, but who cares? This is for my love, of course.
This poem is set up a bit different than showed here, but poetbay seems not to accept it the way I want it. The words are still there though!

To whateverend (my love)

I will follow thee, my love
to whateverend

Yes,

Light the torches
carry me through
In cold nights
I will need you

Show me every
colour of your cloak
Indeed, there are many

Grant me the water
from the well of your soul
Indeed, purer than any

I will follow thee, my love
to whateverend

Yes,

You are the shining diamond
among the dreary rock

You are the breathing life
among the futile mass

You are the answer
among the questions

My love,
listen closely
for I speak to you the truth;

I will follow thee, my love
to whateverend

A different point of view, following maybe the heart, well.. follow someone, to follow yourself, as I imagine.. following your own truth, your own heart. And with someone you love, you always do, sort of.. :) I really liked the rythm in the text. The "yes" and the certainties "indeed".. like speaking to someone, directly.. creating an atmosphere without hesitation.

"Show me every
colour of your cloak
Indeed, there are many..."

I found this to be so very, very lovely!

What a beautiful love letter. This is true romance. It has a sweet serenity that flows through it.
