The ballad of Ana Inifante by M.A.Meddings

The Ballad of Ana Inifante.

By M.A.Meddings.

Amongst Novilleros,
With neat revolleros,
'Twas Ana Inifante,
Who mesmerized me.

A young Spanish beauty,
Who thought that she could be.
The toast of Madrid,
Someday.

On her ultimate debut,
Too close to the issue,
She stumbled,
Whilst turning away.

In a flash the bull got her,
Ignored the mulleta,
'Heridos graves',
As they say.

Sanatoria des Toros,
With torn ligamentos,
And other such wounds,
But less grave.

The rare Spanish beauty,
Who thought that she would be,
A proud 'Diestro',
To save.

Still it seems she will mend,
Only good in the end,
For the beauty,
Who had a close shave.

The end.
