Dead To The World but not forgotten

Dead to the world on arrival
Taken away before first breath
Or taken away before living a full life
The miscarried or still birth children.

No amount of poet's words or hugs
can bring them back
but comfort they bring to
those grief-fallen who remain behind.

thoughts go out to those
who are already fallen
and those yet to fall
Dead to the world
but never forgotten
the miscarried and still-birthed children.

This is a good write from you. And to use Nightwish as an inpiration, I liked. Its one of my fav bands. You did a wery good write to the song "Dead to the world"!!!!

The title is striking, and the poem is a wonderful read.

I think the theme of being "dead to the world" is one you have not fully exhausted, and one that deserves further attention.

Don't get me wrong, I think the poem is wonderful, but try to speculate in what it means to be "dead to the world", for instance, in an emotional sense

also, who is the active character -the world or the dead one?

there are many possibilities, that I encourage you to discover and exploit.
