Girl at the side of the road

Theres a girl at the side of the road,
weeping as she kneels,
and the people pass her by, never caring to ask,
why the pain is a cloud raining hard,

I am among them, those who lack the courage to help,
if one should stop, listen, maybe her soul would not ache so,
and as i pass, this wish comes true,
as our salvation, an angel stops and warms her heart,

And rivers that were once so bitter and swift become dry and calm,
my walk home is one of reflection and self contempt,
realisation of how little it takes to become a better person,
and of Love...

Come and wave me in, my heads divided,
one half is wed, the others blinded.

Inspired
i liked the beginning
then it trailed away to a place i never thought it would go
too used to despair...
