Dreaming of life with Katherine
Saturday Summer Dreaming by M.A.Meddings
I think of those beautiful tree lined avenuesAnd Saturday morning paper kids on bikes
The summer morning sunshine
Promises of scorching heat late afternoon
And very soon its time for us to move
Arise from our love nest
Morning time is always best with you
Open window Saturday mornings see me through
These days of light summer breeze billowed drapes
Surley nothing escapes the trilling call of the cardinals
in the Magnolia trees
And darling did you see how beautiful the April blossoms were
Now its June these mornings fair
When we in relaxed love dreams
Enchant the schemes of the day
You must call your sister and say
How you loved the flowers
Then we can while away the hours of being us two
Lunch on the steamer I know that i'm a dreamer
But these Saturday summer mornings
Are so much a part of me and you
