The Osprey
" My heart's gone!"
He said,
As the osprey,
Swooped away,
Juicy fish
As prey,
Clutched safely,
In talons grey.
Food for her
Chicks in haven,
Nesting atree-top,
Eagerly awaiting,
Mother's gorging
Gullet.
Almost extinct,
Our Queen
Protects.
No man
Allowed,
Within the
Nesting aura,
Their life,
Adored,
They thrive,
Assured,
The osprey
Will live
Forever.
