October 9th, 1940 in Liverpool, UK.
Today, my school held a military themed dress for spirit week.
This is irony, ladies and gentlemen.
I took a bright yellow shirt, and on the front I wrote, in large letters:
"Give Peace a Chance"
and wore it today among the greenies and the pretend vets.
And I wasn't the only one.
In the quad, there was an anti-war circle of fellow activists-for-a-day who sat around in the classic tyedye outfits with peace signs and the like, and I sat and watched.
And do you know what song they sang?
Yeah, you guessed it.
And my heart was at rest.

Happy Birthday, John
Today (or rather, ten minutes ago as of now) is/was John Lennon's Birthday.Today, my school held a military themed dress for spirit week.

and wore it today among the greenies and the pretend vets.
