Politicians
Politicians are the people we have depended on for so long. They have payed us, clothed us, kept us safe, fed us and housed us. They say with power comes corruption. If this is true, then politicians are certainly corrrupt. Is it possible that the government, the Senators, and all of the "leaders" are failing us.......again. I do agree with the war in Iraq. However, I do not agree with staying there and trying to establish democracy, it's hopeless. 2008 elections are coming up and the democratic side is streaming out propagandized movies and infomercials bascially screaming not to vote for the republicans. The truth is, no matter what anyone tells you, there is not a difference between a republican and a democrat. They are basically the same in every way except for their handling in the economy, agriculture, defense, etc. In fact, some republicans are saying it themselves, republicans are democrats with ideas that are democratic, but with a twist. When a politician runs for president, he makes promises, right? Well, name one promise that they kept when they went into office. Reagan doesn't count because he didn't make promises until he became president. In fact, that was one of his sayings,"Don't make promises that you can't keep or your bank can't pay off." Everytime I see an infomerical for the republicans and democrats, they are always talking about making a change and the change starts with voting them and so on. What's the change? 10 presidents said they would make this country change and only 1 kept that promise. Bill Clinton. And boy! Did he give us a change! A bad one at that! They've all been lying to us, so who can we trust? Who can we trust at all? God and your parents might just be the only sane people living right now, hopefully your parents are sane :)
