This is a, I guess, horror story I wrote a couple weeks ago. Inspired by Stephen King.

The Convenience Store

There once was a young boy named Eddy. Eddy lived in a quiet suburb where
everyone was nice and friendly. There were many activities availible for him,
but out of all of them he chose to travel to the end of the neighborhood and
go to the convenience store. The store was filled top to bottom with drinks,
candies, and a variety of mouth waterers. The convenience store was owned
by a middle aged man named Mr. Haddingway. Mr. Haddingway had been a
lawyer ten years before, but quit and started a convenience store.
Eddy would often stay for hours and talk with Mr. Haddingway and enjoy his
company. Until one night, the store caught fire mysteriously and Eddy was
devastated. When Eddy became older, he left and went off to start his life.
One year, when Eddy was much older, he came back to his former home.
He remembered his good times at the convenience store and started off
to see if it was still there. Much to his delight, it was. He walked through the
door and there stood Mr. Haddingway. He had aged since they last saw each
other. He must have been at least 70. They happily conversed until Eddy
decided to depart. They said goodbye and Eddy departed. The next day Eddy
came back to where the store was. It was not there. Eddy thought he must
have gone down the wrong street, but he didn't. Where the store was
supposed to be, he saw a grave. He then saw a lady and asked her
where the store went. She told him, "The store has been gone for twenty two years. That grave you see there. that is Mr. Haddinway's grave." He thanked the lady and she walked by. To say the least, he was astonished.
Curiosity took over and Eddy walked to the grave and as the lady said, it was
grave indeed. He knealt beside it and closed his eyes for a few moments.
When he opened them he found himself not in an empty plot of land, but in
a store of some kind. He was confused. He stood up and walked forward to
the check out area. There was no one at the register. Eddy took a few glances
around him. Front, Back, Right, Left. Nothing. He leaned over the register.
Nothing. As he turned to leave, a hand grabbed him on the shoulder. He
slowly turned. His eyes widened. "Hello, Eddy." a voice said.
