Yearning. a co write by Saga and lastromantichero
This was a real Joy to write with this very gifted poet and hey i enjoyed the dance .
'Still they try to break me,
As I walk these lonely trails,
To find you and your ever-lasting serenity,
From the truth that is being without you,
Makes this direct route turn into a forest of lost and dis-content,
Sometimes in the silence of my room I see you through the mist of my tears
And the years we have been apart come back to me'
Thus now I long for other dreams the plans and schemes we once knew
Well up anew within my heart,
"One day" turns into "someday",
So scared that it will turn to never,
I stretch the days and sleep with wary,
"Courage" where are you?,
"Heart" where is you strength,
When "coincidence" seems to be too slow,
And hasty upon other things that seize the day,
And as I listen to the words of Townes Van Zant
That tortured soul of the American dream
My heart returns to you in springtime heaven
My soul, my inspiration, my enchantment My Queen
If tomorrow never comes,
It will never solve what I need of you today,
Sealed within a fortress of chaste and haste,
I rather grasp for your hand at this very moment,
Then to lose my sanity without you, forever,
And in the new tomorrow of my needs
In the time since I left you in tears
Your heart so full of the fears
That I would not return again
And, I knew of your pain
As mine seemed endless without you
Yet I will return again
In the springtime sunshine of Indiana
Singing your name at turning of the May
