TINY SHELLS

Tiny shells upon the beach
Some are coloured some are bleached
Washed ashore by tide and sea's
Ornaments for you and me

Pebble smooth they shine like glass
Worn down by sea's in times gone past
If they could talk, what tales they'd tell
Of men of war and gold as well

To you and I just pretty things
For use as necklaces and rings
Things of interest,well you know
But still we use them just for show.
