A single bell toll is ringing every five minutes, but please dont listen too loudly
A plea for poetbay to all its members
Toll Not My Death Knell Yet by M.A.Meddings
Toll not my death knell yet
Every five minutes
That single bell chime
And keep away that riderless horse
For I am not dead
Weep no tears for me
For am I ready to pass over
There is spirit in me
Intrinsic beauty in the community
That I engendered
So play no dismal anthems yet
Stay by my bedside
Tend the wounds I gained
Fear nothing
Except premature burial at thine hands
My strength is in your love
Toll not the death knell yet
I am a long time dead
