Breathing in the summer heat

Summer winds
blow through her hair,
the heat
that should be exhausting
feels vitalizing,
when she jog around the muddy trail

She smiles,
can't help it

something that exists
outside of her
feels connected to the
inside of her
and she can't tell it apart anymore
The lines blurred out
everything being one

and
everything breathes perfection

Gratitude
permeates my heart
knowing
I was her,
we were one
and I will breathe perfection again

Kathy Lockhart
this stanza i feel so personally:

something that exists
outside of her
feels connected to the
inside of her
and she can't tell it apart anymore
The lines blurred out
everything being one

well done. : )
