A Solitary Scream.

I've seen the blood
And heard the screams
And they will haunt me all my life
Seen men that act inhuman
Surely tests my faith in Christ

I don't if or why or when
The world will put a stop
To the filth and degradation
Forced upon us
Like so much slop

Is there a point, at which we see
The depth of human misery
Or does it go on for all eternity?
To test all faiths beyond reality

Some lead a life of abject pain
Where relief is but a dream
Or will we end up like the painting
One single solitary scream.

Excellent write and read dear pen. The questions we all ask at times...and a million silent screams join voices....and no one seems to listen.

Voice shouting in a desert...
