Food For Thought

Cosmic technology
To stressful a thought
With mankind corrupted
By political fault

Gone are the days
Of the meek and the mild
If you need to survive
Then be born to be wild

The airs full of fumes
Dust, smog or smoke
And lungs are polluted
By tobacco or coke

A day never passes
Without harsh words or war
The terrorist screams
In the ears of the poor
And the dead and the dying
Are proof of the score

So what have we learnt
Since the dawn of mankind
That wars are an option
If you look you will find

There is a way forward
But tread lightly with care
Peace comes at a price
And its not always fair.

Certainly food for thought, and well delivered. Unfortunately with the modern age and modern wars they will not be "Having a break on Christmas day to sing Carroll's
And play a game of football"

This poem sparked a very good interist by the name, i sit down and read it and fall into it. the whole idea of hate on earth and the lack of care grabs me and then at the end the price for peace that u must pay to make a diff. that may have great conciquence. in an instance mohamed ghandi fasting for the poeple and 2 stop the war. The power in peace takes hate and love, it makes hate counter react in love and may not always have that outcome. the iternal fight of hate and love goes on. very good right very very good
