A political piece about Bush Sr. and his son Bush Jr.

A Man And His Son

No more dead bodies,
To see sleeping in,
You're the devil in disguise,
The unforgivable sin.

Some say you're justified,
In taking their lives,
Blowing their heads off,
And cutting with knives.

I beg to differ,
But life's a bitch,
You know after death,
You'll burn in hell for this shit.

A country at war,
With blood on it's tongue,
Killing the innocent,
For a man and his son.

He that depicts truth,
Is the one that will know,
The direction this country,
Is starting to go.

So neighbor stand up,
A war has begun,
Between this country,
A man, and his son.

I applaud the sentiment, it is true that two men, father and son, have led your country - and mine - into the mire of war, what really makes me want to scream is, they NEVER learn that violence does not solve the problem. (See my poem
'Another day, Another way'.)
I like the way you ended with the words :
'A war has begun,
Between this country,
A man, and his son. '
