this one is for a dear friend and lady who is learing to dance the tango. Just a little fun.
Wine Bar 'Floosies' And You by M.A.Meddings
I have spent all my money on ‘wine bar floosies
Trying to forget your face
But at fourty two I just couldn't do
That required to stay with the pace
It was too much to ask of a man of my years
And a romantic turn of mind
To ignore the allure of the beauties no fears
God damn it! I'd rather go blind
One night at the bar of The Glitz Trocadar
Posing as anyone could
I chanced to espy with a glint in the eye
A maiden who seemed that she would
Dance with a stranger, so awkwardly shy
A Tango if only she knew it
But if she had the will, she hadn't the skill
Save Tangero's revealing of thigh
With Finger and Thumb gently squeezing her b**
We gradually got it together
And began to employ Tango Dancing enjoy
Eye contact, Hot clinches, and tearing of leather
With her Emerald eyes, and the glimpse of her thighs
She melted my heart like a Lemming
Satin skin oh so fair, and her Silken red hair
In my arms? She was my Rhonda Fleming
But it was not to be, age difference you see
Her eyes in another direction
As John Payne I was fine, but at some other time
Brad Pitt was to her quite perfection
So I gave up the allure of Maidens so pure
Wine bar floosies, fast living and thee
Country music is all right, every Thursday night
Then it's ‘grab hold of a granny' for me
