Ode To The 2nd Earl Of Rochester.
They said he was a LibertineJohn Wilmot was his name
No sex was safe or in between
He had no sense of shame
The second Earl as he was known
For King Charles an eager friend
His wit he wrote about the throne
As was the courtly trend
Actor, Poet, Gadavant
His life was full of tricks
He wrote of dildos stuffed in pants
And various other pricks
One day he overstepped the mark
To make King Charles a fool
Which really wasn't very smart
As Charles could be quite crue
And so he fled the city life
Gave up the Merry Gang
To settle with a country wife
He had no wish to hang
He changed his name to Bendo
And as a doctor plied his trade
But he couldn't change his ego
And chased after pretty maids
A hectic life you must agree
Most spent in sexual bliss
At the ripe old age of thirty three
He died of syphilis
