Down.

The river may be golden in spring
The river may bellow its tender shine
Flowing an endlessly powerful king
The thing may inspire the birds into song
Horizons in reach as the trekking is long
And though it seems simple and without a wrong
You chuckle as light as the air in the dawn
You throw your suspicion and quelch all your thought
You may have forgot

You did, did you not?

The canyons a mile from where you stand
Gorge deep in the Earth as rivers planned
Greedily eating the rock and the dust
Scarring the planet's one, only crust

You swim in the water, no worry at all
And then

You Fall

All

The way

Down.
