FACE

A face of beauty
A face of desire

The face with skin as white as milk
The touch as smooth as silk

Lost in those clear heretics
In which I prowl
Trying to make every movement,
Anything but a jerk,
The condensing look,
the look of secrecy,
lost in that secrecy,
in which I ponder,
as I wonder,
in how many people,
how many yonder do cross I have,
to find that mystery

Ever seen the true blue sky
not from that of cities have I
but from highness beyond scales
reached from rain and snow,
no matter,
for the loveliness lies in her eyes

All petals of grass
Here in grasp
All in clouds but the face say aloud,
As the sunshine shines,
More beautiful than the beauty upon cloud lines,
Be brave, be bold
Let the grasp on your life be a strong hold

But to behold the face,
In loving arms,
Away from all harms

To possess the face,
Is the same as haste,
As haste make waste
