A suffered Girl

Sufferings of a suffered girl,
with cravings in her heart
and woes in the soul
what a woman is, if treated so,
her tormented heart weeps and worthy face glow
acknowledged she is of her rights,
but what she does, if men denies
under the possesion of her parents she thrives
with soul occupied by love and no image of jagged knives
stoic of her mother, shows her The relation a blessing
when approaches the age, she is made to be ready for her wedding
the lovely tinsel red dress
and the jewelry like glittery coins from nightfall
takes her to the world she had thought for
the handsome gallant looks of her male
shows the dreams and seductively hail
and make her assume all men's love, equal in all relations
but, ahh! the thought drives the real tensions
Now, she is plegded to a fastidious man

She makes her eyes the harbinger of her heart
that dispathces the bowls of tears
and then she dumbfounds, for what she hears
the full day tussels and full nightmares
in a nook she sits then, and thinks
was this that she had dreamt of?
and now she is asked for a nifty job
to listen what her man says
and utter nothing in any ways
she is day and night surrounded by such hearing
"love your hubby and leave interfereing.

i am so sorry for your plight. I wish for you freedom, love, and peace. This is a very poignant poem that humbled my spirit for I am no longer chained to an abuser. I am fortunate because I live in USA and can divorce my oppressor and I did.
