For all returning soldiers.

("Blighty" was a nickname for Great Britain used by soldiers in WW1)
This poem now has five parts.

Back in Blighty I

The soldiers
Touched down,
Still in fatigues,
Back from Afghan.

Heroes' welcomes,
All around,
Showering them with
Buckets of love,
Jubilation.

The English drizzle,
Anoints them,
Making them smile,
Home again,
Once more.
Back in Blighty.

To me, this dramatically shows how painting a word picture can powerfully pose big questions. In German there is a saying translating as "No answer is also an answer." This poem makes me think: No statement is also a statement.
