Oft we take things for granted that seemingly have lost their glory. But really once we open our eyes... we wish to salvage the old, for their is great worth in things that endure.
never really changed
locked away safe
what use to amuse
now is a fuse
once love delighted
has grown rotten
not worth the trouble?
to salvage?
easier to get more
somewhere else
just go down town
lots of takers
give their love away
no constraints
no rules
turn away run
from your self made
responsibility
offer no reason
blame it on rhyme
she can take it
her salvaged heart
she sings silently
the same on the inside
never really changed
