The Postman
A postman’s job is full of stress.
He sorts letters for the right address
The postman has an important job.
He leaves letters by the door knob.
All day long on his bicycle
He carries a big bag full
Of letters, cards and parcels
To huts, houses and castles
Everyone waits for the postman
Hari, Babloo and Mr Narayan.
For Sudesh ji arrives a cook book
For Kiran, let me have a look.
There’s a special delivery today
A big parcel for your birthday
From your aunt in Hyderabad
A pretty doll and a nice card
Thank you postman, we love you
You work hard all day and night too
Thank you for the letters you bring
On your bicycle with a ‘tring, tring’
