Nothing Lasts Forever.

I went to pick her up today
From the place she had her test
The staff said, theres nothing we can do
We tried our very best

But every thing had spread so fast
They could'nt give another year
Things could have been so different
If we had gone there earlier

We've been together, so many years
It came as quite a shock
To find her time is over
Because of some insidious rot

They said that if I phone around
There are places near and far
Where she can spend her last few days
Because I need another car.

What a poem? Graham!
Makes me think of so many things racing through my mind...
Does she have a terminal disease?
Are her days numbered?
Who is she?
The last line truely foxes me!!!
A bit of a mystery!!!
A bit of intrigue!!!
