the happiness of the toil facing odds...

Coming Back Home

Two chicks in the hawk nest
Come alive with hungry cry
Flapping their budding wings
In a cliff facing the sea.

Mother in a distant horizon
Circles round with an eye
For a prey to feed its young ones
While shadows of dusk looms.

With a naked mission to hunt on one side
And concern for its chicks safety on the other,
Hawk dives and finally makes a catch
And returns home- the reunion, treat to watch.
