into nothing

His skin pale and coloured a cream grey from his deprivation
his fingers striving he steals the earth, dark and rich
His veins protruding deep blue; pulsating
His eyes clear,as if every question ever asked had been answered
An empty hollow ray of light shining
Piercing minds would ripple through,
His mouth opens
His voice, like the rain
He speaks a name.
a name so beautiful, it cannot be heard through the voids of his place and ours
A name that brings visions of delicate petals under a heavy rain,
Easily broken but would sustain
His speechless lips form a crooked shape
A sad smile
A sharp smirk

His breath so harsh, but deep
he lays motionless.
His eyes face the light
Clearer than his clouded vision
He breathes in everything
Every feeling surging, every sight blinding, every thought flooding
Every star that ever shone, every tear that's ever shed
And releases one simple breath
Hardly heard ...
A breath of statues
Dolls
Mannequins

That sigh
A sigh that releases everything
All life
And still he lays motionless
Like a star;
shining into nothing .
