Not making sense

I'm trying
Really trying
To make sense

I wish it was easier to explain
I wish I didn't need to explain

I wish I could go back

I wish we were younger
Or older
Just not this age

I wish we didn't argue that night
I wish I didn't say what I did

I wished you would have stayed
Right after I made you leave

I wish I was more mature
More like you

I'm trying
Really trying
To make sense
I know I'm not
