PONCA CITY
I was sitting by the windowwatch the city in the moonlight
let it take me away
There's a woman in my bed
and I wonder if she'll stay
I figure it's some kind of dream
But my sister in Ponca city
does she still have this moonlit nights
In the painting of the pictures
I'm just one of the faces
covered with a funny smile
There's a lover in my bed
and a moonlight in my head
I hope she'll stays for a while
But my sister in Ponca city
does she still have this moonlit nights
And the day is soon upon us
I can always feel it's coming
though it felt better this night
There's a woman in my bed
with a moonlight in her head
I hope she'll stay for a while
But my sister in Ponca city
does she still have this moonlit nights
From the moon of Ponca city
to my mind and back again
there is something that we never leave behind
There's a lover in my bed
and she maybe know my name
but she doesn't know the reason for this smile
for a sister in Ponca city
I wish so many moonlit nights
