another girl in the rain

another girl in the rain
living on ginseng and coffe
just to keep awake

My life full of blues, that's the way it goes
But inbetween the sorrow theres more laughter
than you can imagine
I'm the girl with the fire in her eyes, but the face of an angel

My hearts burning but still I'm thinking of ways to escape

What can you do to keep me out of the rain?
And he tries to pick me up
He makes my world complete, still I won't embrace the world he put me into
Another girl against the world
another girl alone again in the rain.

Keep on moving the train
And you got to keep on moving
to stay away from yoursef
passing into mysterious places, faces
that I may never see again
I keep messing myself up over and over
again

and I'm sorry baby
just another girl

alone in the rain

again.

Kathy Lockhart
your first lines drew me in and the rest kept me reading. Nicely done. I like the duality in your expressions of who you are.
