THE SERPENTS FACE
I got home on a rainbowmy castle at rainbows end
the mind is shining mellow
my soul out of the rain
I got over falling
getting up once and for all
staring down The Serpents Face
sent that hissing serpent home
could not stand it any more
I got enough of the smiling faces
she there in the middle with the clowns
Dancing 'round in the middle of her circus
her Musac ringing always round the town
holding my hands
rubbing on the dancefloor
how could one ever feel so cold
I got over falling
getting up once and for all
clearing out The Serpents Face
none of that no more
no serpents round my door
Stare down The Serpents Face
make it go away
