Temptation and indulgence
Who can resist it? I never met anyone,
and if they claimed to be resistent
they did it furtively and clandestinely,
as if ashamed of it,
but there is really nothing to be ashamed of.
Life consists of giving vent to it,
and that is above all temptation,
the urge to live and to expand
and make the best of it.
So whatever morality may preach,
the only proper thing to do
is to indulge in life.
All else is against nature,
and whatever is against nature,
is a crime against life.
