BEAUTIFUL MARIE

Don't know where you are, Marie
in this unfriendly town
I never seem to
get my head around
I play it sound
I pass the strangers
I pass the windows
I pass the winter naked willows
searching for the words
I still not haven't heard
I have so much to tell you, Marie

Don't worry 'bout a thing, Marie
it's OK that you cannot be
for me the way all people
crave of you to be
you must be free
Pass the strangers
Pass the windows
Pass the winter naked willows
come over from your space
I know there will be ways
I have so much to tell you, Marie

I hope you will come, Marie..
Though the roads to make it us
might be more than I can ask
I know what life does
but if you come...
Pass the strangers
Pass the windows
Pass the winter naked willows
I'm a poet, I got hope
and you are stronger than you know
I have so much to tell you, Marie

Towns can be unfriendly, that I know and they always know when a stranger comes to town and the feeling they give.

Your poem is a nice love song to a loved one possibly, you certainly have a unique style. Thanks for sharing.
