The Distinctive Rockabilly Chick
Dressed in a summer dress during winterand a shattered heart in her chest during spring
with her smile in times of drugs
and her friends isolating her suddenly
in the cold, dark alley,in lonely corners of the street
with a bunch of children throwing stones at her
she is still a dream, one of those you never dare to dream
disgustingly different, unconventionally ludicrous
popping pills and smoking reefers
with her net tights torn, she guesses she can make it alone
standing in the english summer rain, making a pray
everything's gonna be ok,god, it's gonna be ok
i may have no friends, no love, i'm stray
it's gonna be ok, god, it's gonna be ok
i'll find somewhere to sleep,by the end of the day.
