I don't wish to comment. Just please let me know your interpretation, that's what I find most beautiful about any type of art, the millions of different interpretations

Pop it and Swallow

hop into the fad
the one they call pop it and swallow
the words to the incompetent, the ones who apparently have no control
we knock on the only door, the same one leading to a wall of white calcium, unable to breathe the outside
we cannot connect, trapped in that box, we see the world, but with no eternal senses
we go to tell them, we talk our list until blue in the face, tell them the plug is not in its socket
they chuckle, wave their inflated finger to the stick of ink and utter "just pop it and swallow"
years of schooling and intuition, just to use those emphatic words, unjustified words
Help us they try, but it is just negated
you are left to later discover that it doesn't take that, and feel more baffled then before
baffled at how such the complex can be so narrowed down, how matter of factly your inner eye may still be blind
you ignored that you had it in you all along to correct, and they kept it ignored
but it is just so simple, something so simple, to just pop and swallow
everything and anything, pop and swallow

Purple Phoenix
To me it speaks of being drugged into conforming... we protest, but just get told to pop it and swallow.... Reminds me of the drugged mess someone I know who suffers from depression is in....she is numbed, hates it, but is told it is the only way. A little sad but very true.. if I come close...
