This poem was written for my friend who I grew up with, was more like a brother to me - Tony Peter Bornhoeft, committed suicide six months ago. RIP TONY

RIP TONES

Every day id ring and youd say "ill just get her sis".
Just one of the many things I am really gona miss,
I'd give anything to see that Cheshire cat grin,
A smile that definitely came from deep within.

You truly cared for me
and jack as u would your son,
It warmed my heart to hear you say
For Corey there was no better god mum,

When your children ask me where you are?
I'll say god heard my wish
And he made you a star!
before your children go to bed,
They'll look at the dark night sky'
and see you looking over them
with a twinkle in your eye.

And as we see your star up there
Twinkling with the moon,
All we can think dear friend,
Is that you definitely went too soon.

Eli The PoetBay support member heart!
This is awesome... "I'll say god heard my wish And he made you a star!" such a wonderful way to explain the unexplainable.
