The Loudest Absence
I almost forgot how angels feelwhen they dance, they weep, they sing
I almost forgot the joy of life
which fades away in a second's time.
I've travelled far and wide in places you've never heard of
I've seen faces both happy and blue
but I will never learn what is behind this closed door
For my world is torn in two.
Necessity,oblige,anxiety
going around in the groove of reality
sorrow,despair,a deadly silence
a silence as loud as joy's absence.
All I hear is oblivion's steps
I make a hole on the floor and I sink deep down
deep down where angels sleep
deep down where kids joyfully sing.
