This poem was inspired by an ex-girlfriend of mine.
I'm trying to pick the door with a debit card,
She has locked me out once again,
She is in the lead but I will win,
She sticks the pane under her tounge,
Then trips out while thinking of songs I've sung,
Well girl I love you but this has to stop,
All them drugs are going to attract a cop,
We can't risk this fooling around,
Oh shit run don't you hear that sound,
They are coming this is for real,
This isn't minor this is a major deal,
Oh baby now your gone forever,
I won't forget you no not ever,
Twenty years later she comes walking out,
First thing she does is stick a Marlboro in her mouth,
She asks me sir do you have a light,
I said baby is that you what a pitiful site,
Her face was bruised a shade of grey,
She had her ass beat just the other day,
She got in my car looking oh so disturbed,
She said where is the closest dealer I didn't belive what I had heard,
I asked her with sorrow in my deep voice,
Why baby do you have to make that choice,
I havn't seen you in twenty years,
Come on pleae stick with a few beers,
Next thing I know she's at the house,
Hallucinating but she's quite as a mouse,
I ask her "Can I borrow a dime",
She was gone for the very last time,
All of the sudden her body shook,
I screamed girl tell me what have you took,
I heard faintly her soft voice say,
"I love you and I'll see you in heaven on another day",
I sit on the porch while winter takes its grasp,
I sit for ever with no idea of the time elapsed,
I look at the date it's been three days,
Her body is gone all laid away,
And then I met a girl but she has locked her door,
Skrew it I'm not putting up with this crap anymore.

The Winds of Love and Drugs
The rain is falling so damn hard,I'm trying to pick the door with a debit card,
She has locked me out once again,
She is in the lead but I will win,
She sticks the pane under her tounge,
Then trips out while thinking of songs I've sung,
Well girl I love you but this has to stop,
All them drugs are going to attract a cop,

Oh shit run don't you hear that sound,

Oh baby now your gone forever,
